Incentives for Renewing Your Membership

INCENTIVE PROGRAM

There are many perks for joining the BC Branch of CSHP (and joining/renewing EARLY).  This year's membership incentive winners as determined by random draw in November are (drum roll . . . )

Student Prize: A Palm Tungsten PDA was awarded to Dawn Dalen, a 2nd year PharmD student.

New member early registration prize: Alex Firus of Vancouver will receive $400 in educational funding to be used at the event(s) of his choice.

Early renewing member prize: Daniel Wildemann of Kamloops will also receive $400 in educational funding.

 Types of Membership

The Membership fee you pay depends on your membership category. Find the membership category from the list below that best suits your status and pay the appropriate fee.

ACTIVE 
Pharmacists licensed or registered with a pharmacy regulatory body in Canada or persons with a professional degree in pharmacy, who support the objectives of, and pay fees to, the Society. This membership category maintains the right to vote on important matters relating to the Society.

SUPPORTING 
Persons who support the objectives of, and pay fees to, the Society, but are not eligible for any of the other membership categories. The fee is the same as an Active member, however, this membership category does not include the right to vote in Societal matters.

ACTIVE-IN-TRAINING 
Persons who are enrolled in a full-time postgraduate pharmacy program or full-time degree program. This category also includes residents, interns, persons doing fellowships and students pursuing their Pharm.D. degree.

STUDENT
Persons enrolled in a baccalaureate degree program in pharmacy or a related program.   Student memberships must be accompanied by a photocopy of a dated (valid) student card.

CORPORATE 
Corporations that support the objectives of, and pay fees to, the Society. This membership includes up to three individual members.

JOINT 
Two persons who are Active members residing at the same address. Only one person receives the regular membership mailings although both are members.
