Purpose
The purpose of this award is to recognize the outstanding commitment of an undergraduate pharmacy student towards the achievement of professionalism within academia and society.
Award Description
This award will be given to a member of CSHP-BC Branch who has shown significant and extensive contribution to promoting and exhibiting professionalism in any variety of pharmacy related activities at the local, provincial or national level. The award will consist of admission to the CSHP Banff Conference, $500 to offset expenses associated with attending the Banff Conference, and individual plaque and an ongoing plaque at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science at University of British Columbia.
Eligibility/Application Deadline
The candidate must be an active member of CSHP-BC Branch. Nominations shall be submitted to the Awards Committee in writing, or on-line via the Branch website, no later than November 30th. Winners will be notified in early January of the following year.

Selection Criteria
Selection shall be reviewed by the Awards Committee of the CSHP-BC Branch and shall be based on:
- Positions held in professional or student organizations (ex: volunteer, executive committee member)
- Membership in professional organizations (ex. PhUS, CAPSI, CSHP, BCPhA)
- Participation in professional activities (ex. attending conferences, attending CE events)
- Ability to create and implement new programs or student initiatives
- Professional service to the community (representing the profession of pharmacy to members of the public) through work experience or volunteer experience
Award Presentation
The award will be presented to the winning student at the annual Banff Conference in March and will be announced at the Annual General Meeting.
