Purpose
This award is presented annually to one pharmacy student from each of the Western Branches’ Faculties of Pharmacy, who displays student professionalism and is considered to be a future leader of the profession.

Award Description

1) Complimentary registration for the CSHP Western Branches Banff Seminar (sponsored by CSHP Western Branches).

2) A $500 cheque to cover travel/accommodation/expenses (sponsored by McKesson Canada).

3) A plaque presented at the annual CSHP Banff Seminar.

Eligibility/Application Deadline
The candidate must be an active member of CSHP-BC Branch. Nominations shall be submitted to the Awards Committee in writing, or on-line via the Branch website, no later than December 2nd. Winners will be notified in early January of the following year.

Selection Criteria
Winners are selected on the basis of their displayed student leadership and proven commitment to student professionalism and promoting the profession of pharmacy.

Award Presentation
The award will be presented to the winning student at the annual Banff Conference in March and will be announced at the Annual General Meeting.
