PURPOSE
The
purpose of this award is to recognize the academic achievement of a graduate
student in the Pharm.D. program at the University of British Columbia.
AWARD
DESCRIPTION
This
award will be given to a second year Pharm.D. student at the University of
British Columbia with the highest academic standing in Pharmacy 501. The award
will consist of an engraved individual plaque and a cash award of $1000.
ELIGIBILITY/APPLICATION
DEADLINE
The
candidate must be a second year Pharm.D. student at the University of British
Columbia, and a member of the B.C. Branch of the Canadian Society of Hospital
Pharmacists as of 30th September of the academic year in which the
Pharmacy 501 course is taken. All Pharm. D. Students registered in Pharmacy 501
are eligible for award consideration.
SELECTION
CRITERIA
Selection
is made on the recommendation of the U.B.C. Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences
in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
AWARD
PRESENTATION
The
award will be presented at the Annual General Meeting.
