PURPOSE
The
purpose of this award is to recognize a hospital pharmacy department’s
Pharmacy Awareness Week campaign.
AWARD
DESCRIPTION
This
award will be given to a B.C. hospital pharmacy department, which displays the
most impressive Pharmacy Awareness Week campaign.
ELIGIBILITY/APPLICATION
DEADLINE
All
hospital pharmacy departments in BC with actuive members of the CSHP-BC branch
are eligible for this award. Deadline for submissionsis April 30, 2008.
SELECTION
CRITERIA
The B.C. Branch C.S.H.P. Awards Committee will review each submission based on
the following criteria:
- Poster
display/promotion with a clear emphasis on promoting the role of the
pharmacist and the value of pharmaceutical care.
- Photos
of the display must accompany a 1-2 page description.
AWARD
PRESENTATION
The
award will consist of a plaque
presented
at the CSHP-BC Branch Annual General Meeting
and a feature article in both the B.C. Branch
newsletter and on the website. The
B.C. Branch C.S.H.P. Awards Committee will reassess this award on a yearly
basis.
